This t-shirt is a garment and not a baby carrier. It should not be worn over other clothing.
With no fasteners, no velcro, no hooks or ties, it is easy to use. Ethically made in Canada with an Oeko-Tex certified cotton and spandex blend, it is suitable for babies up to 15 lbs (7.5 kg). Size chart:
With its fitted cut and stretchy fabric, it offers comfort and support for carrying. When in doubt, Vija Design recommends taking a larger size, as this garment is made fitted.
USE
To place baby inside the t-shirt:
Lean baby on your shoulder. Slide opposite leg inside the cross panel and bring foot out on the other side of the panel.
Pull up and extend the panel fabric to cover baby's bottom and back up to under the knees. Turn baby onto the other shoulder and repeat on the other side. BABY MUST BE SITTING WELL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE "X".
Readjust the side panels then lift the headband over it, making sure the knees are well bent, the feet resting in the fabric of the headband. Slide the baby's head into a natural position in the fold of fabric of the neckline (facing) without burying the nose.

Stay attentive to your baby's needs, do not sleep** - unless someone else is watching.
If you are breastfeeding your baby in the garment, make sure his head is outside the garment and his nose is not blocked. Once finished, reposition baby vertically between the breasts.
