The Gustine woven wrap, made from 100% organic cotton, has a soft, supple texture that softens even more after the first wash. Perfect for carrying your child from birth to around 2 years or older, it offers great versatility with a variety of positions: front, hip, and back. Although it takes a little practice to use, the variety of possible knots ensures a comfortable carry that's tailored to each wearer.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE OF YOUR GUSTINE WOVEN SCARF?

To get started with a sling, we strongly suggest starting with your base size.

What is this, the "base" size?

This is the size of scarf with which you will be able to comfortably make a wrap cross (FWCC). Finished with a double knot at the back, without being in the ends to tie the knot.

A person who wears an XS or S will generally have a base size of 5.

A person who wears a size M or L will generally have a base size 6.

A person who wears an XL will generally have a base size of 7.

When in doubt, if you are between two sizes, choosing the larger one is recommended. You can always cut it if necessary.

HOW LONG IS A GUSTINE WOVEN SCARF?

A size 4 measures 3.7 m

A size 5 measures 4.2 m

A size 6 measures 4.6 m

A size 7 measures 5.2 m

Interview :

The most important step before using your Gustine is to WASH it!

Although our fabric is pre-washed, the Gustine manufacturing process is not complete until the fiber has swollen, filling the entire space provided in the fabric. Not washing your Gustine before its first use leaves empty spaces between the stitches, which weakens the weave and also increases the risk of fiber shifting and premature wear.

SOAP

Our natural and ecological Gustine soap made from Marseille soap is ideal for washing baby carriers.
A mild soap, without optical brightener (whitening agent), without fabric softener.
Baby soaps are not recommended.
No powdered soap (powder residue can damage fabric fibers).
Rinse the soap well if it is not a no-rinse soap.
WASHING

Wash in cold water, ideally by hand, however our scarves and Ring Slings are machine washable.
DRYING

Ideally, hang to dry, taking care to wring out well. However, our woven scarves and ring slings are dryer-safe.
