Lemon eucalyptus
Do you know lemon eucalyptus? Its smell is somewhat reminiscent of lemongrass, but its repellent effect is even more effective in chasing away mosquitoes. Indeed, according to Health Canada, lemon eucalyptus is the second most effective product against mosquitoes after DEET. This means that lemon eucalyptus is crowned the big winner among natural repellents. These are the reasons why we selected this plant to develop our eco outdoor vaporizer.
Geranium
The addition of rose geranium was important to us since it provides repellency against ticks, which we all know are increasingly present in Quebec.
Catnip
Finally, our third key plant is catnip. The latter has proven itself in terms of repelling mosquitoes and it was inevitable to add it to our product so that it would be as effective as possible.
